The Development Services Department plays a key role in shaping the future of Manteca. Our team is responsible for reviewing development applications, ensuring that new projects are thoughtfully designed and consistent with City standards, and supporting opportunities for affordable housing. We work to balance growth with the needs of the community, protect the character of our neighborhoods, and make sure development aligns with the City’s long-term vision. In addition, the Department is responsible for enforcing the City’s Municipal Code to help maintain a safe, attractive, and high-quality environment for all who live, work, and invest in Manteca.
